Pitchers:
Phil Hughes RHP Yankees 1.2IP 8H 8ER 2BB
Hughes was roughed up in this start. He looked startled after Swisher air mailed a throw to the backstop in the second and never fully recovered. He gave up 8 runs in the 2nd inning before being removed. His stuff didn't look that bad, but he left a lot of pitches up and in the middle of the zone.
Adam Eaton RHP Orioles 5IP 4H 4ER 5BB 1K
He had terrible command and would have been out of the game sooner if not for the great run support. He got out of a jam in the 4th inning on a GIDP after walking the bases loaded. He continues to look like a below average MLB Starter.
Position Players:
Adam Jones CF Orioles 3-5, 2RBI, 2 2b, HR
Jones looked very impressive at the plate. He has great power to the opposite field and I though he might be susceptible to FB in and he proved me wrong by hitting two doubles down the left field line. He has improved tremendously from last year.
