The Good:
Dan Haren 8.0IP 4H 1ER 2BB 11K
He had his best stuff in this game and great command. He consistently pounded the zone with his average FB, above average SPLT, and average CB. His plus command made it hard for the Brewers hitters to get solid contact on many pitches.
Justin Upton 2-4 2R HR RBI
Upton showed off his PLUS Power and Speed in this game. In the 5th inning he got on with a bunt single to Prince Fielder. He passed Fielder before he had a chance to field and make an attempt to tag him. In the 7th inning he came up and hit an 86mph FB 450ft to Left Field of the facade of the Metavante Club. He has true 80 Power and is fun to watch!
The Bad:
Braden Looper's 5th Inning: 4H (3XBH) 3R 0K
He was perfect through four innings, but got roughed up in the 5th inning. Overall he didn't have a bad night: 7IP 6H 4ER 0BB 3K
The Ugly:
Craig Counsell, Corey Hart and Chris Duffy
They went a combined a 0-12 with 8K and 7LOB
