SEA @ CHW 4/28/09

John Danks LHP White Sox
Danks had good stuff during this game but when he made mistakes, the hitters capitalized. His line was 4IP 8H 5R 1BB and 2K. His FB was 93-96 and had average movement. His cutter was 87-91 and had above average movement. His CB was 78-81 and his CH 83-86. He left his change up to Betancourt and Yuneski crushed it for a Homer (YB had a ridiculous game going 4-5 with 5RBI. Trust me he's not that good). Danks just had a bad day and I can't wait to chart him on one of his good days.

D.J. Carasco RHP White Sox
He's a long reliever/11th or 12th man in the pen. He threw from 3/4 arm slot as well as dropping down for some FB/SL. He's nothing spectacular but gets it done with off speed and deception.

Lance Broadway RHP White Sox
I wasn't that impressed with Broadway. He looks to be one of the last guys out of the pen. His FB sits 91-92 SL 82-84 and CH 77-80. He may also throw a CUT around 86. He looks to be a 4A guy.

Felix Hernandez RHP Mariners
He's one of the three best RH starters in the game today (Greinke and Lincecum). He has 2 FB: a POWER sinker and four seamer that range from 93-98 (He hit 97 in the 8th) It is an 80 on the 20-80 scouting scale. His CH is very hard and was from 87-91. It is above average with great arm side movement. Both of his breaking balls are above average as well. His SL is hard and sharp at 87-89 and his CB is hard with great bite from 84-86. To go along with his awesome stuff, he has above average command: 36K/10BB in 34IP. He is really fun to watch!
